When compared to other scriptures in the Bible and the teachings of Christ "love your neighbor as yourself" can not mean love your Jewish neighbor and only your Jewish neighbor as yourself. Christ wants a personal relationship with all of us and offers His love and forgiveness equally to everyone who believes in Him - no matter who they are, where they come from, or what they have done in their past.

@101rstr Love your neighbor as yourself was taught by Jesus. Funny thing is is that the word reyacha that was translated into neighbor was actually a mistranslation. The saying love your neighbor merely means love your fellow jew as yourself.

Well, God created us all in His image (Gen. 1:26-27),He laid down His life for everyone (John 3:16),He shows no partiality or favoritism (Deut.10:17,Acts 10:34,Rom. 2:11,Eph. 6:9,James 2:4),we are to love others as ourselves (James 2:8) and as God loves us(John 13:34). God did divide Jews and Gentiles with the intent of Jews being a kingdom of priest ministering to gentiles but the Jews became proud and Jesus destroyed the dividing wall of hostility (Eph. 2:14). All are one in Christ (Gal.3:28).

Jesus doesn't agree with racism, He argued against it. He instructs us to preach the gospel to the whole world so that all may come to know Him and be saved. However, without God's standard of goodness and His laws to love one another as we love ourselves, what basis would you have to not be a racist that wouldn't be totally arbitrary and based on your own opinion?

Jesus didn't disagree with racism, so why the hell should I trust him about everything else?
