Canvas Spray Booth. We've built this custom spray booth to varnish our giclée printed canvases. We built this like a reverse hockey table. It has air channels in the back, and a variable speed 4500 cfm fan. The air channels and the peg board provide for an even suction. The white rectangular things holding it all together are 6" square fence posts. Holes in front of the peg board, then holes in the back cause air to be sucked through the square tubes as well as the peg board, providing much needed ventilation.

The UV varnish we use is the Breathing Color Glamour II (www.breathingcolor.com). It comes in Gloss or Matte. In order to get a nice spray from the HVLP spray gun, you need to dilute the coating to a consistency of whole milk - Not half and half, and not skim milk. that's the bes description we can give. Then it sprays beautifully.
