So what is safe? Nothing is safe.

So i want to go down to the shop today and buy groceries. I could easily get run over by cars because there are no light poles. But i looked around myself and walked over the road. Basicly. they want you to not buy groceries, just because there is a risk or safety issue with walking over a road.. So with this logic they could tell you that walking over a 8laned speedway is safer then surfing online.

Even the best have a 1% incorrect filter issue. As so 7/25/2008 there were over 1,000,000,000,000 (1 trillion) websites, therefore approx 10,000,000,000 websites will be blocked incorrectly.

Some websites which will be banned, may share a "parent" URL/Host IP as websites that are genuine and "legal" will ALSO be blocked because they share the same host IP.

Don't forget, that the Howard government tried to implement a similar system. A kid got past it in 45 SECONDS! 45 SECONDS!

by putting a firewall over these sites, all it will do is make smarter pedophiles who find ways to bypass the filter, which isnt all that hard as many chinese are able to do it with their filter. this will make them harder to track down also, making the problem worse. plus only child porn and beastilality sites my ass, there is a leaked list of the websites online somewhere, one of the sites they blocked is a pro abortion site, not getting into that argument but it shouldnt be blocked.
