An original 1923 orchestration of the Al Jolson hit performed by The Bijou Orchestra. There are several other Bijou cuts on YouTube as well. The Bijou is the only professional orchestra of its kind in the country that is equally at home with the salon orchestrations of the classics, rag time, and 20's and early 30's era swing.

Hi, Cody...

I've always loved this kind of music as well. My mother used to play these kinds of songs on the piano (I'm almost 60) and that's where I heard them first. Well, maybe not first. I think about all the "Little Rascals" and "3 Stooges" films I used to watch on Saturday morning TV (they came on early, before the cartoons) and that may be the real place I learned to like these things. At any rate....YouTube is a great place for you to find these things—happy hunting!
