@Corykinz given more back to them. :) i wish too i was born earlier, like in the 60s so that by the time the Pointer sisters came out i could have appreciated them more. i was too young to know them that well back in the 70s and 80s, the prime of their careers. But for me it's better late than never.
If only i can reach Ruth and Anita and tell them how much i love them. HOw much i appreciate their music and how it affects me now. And that I love their sister June too so much. I miss June.

@Corykinz true...........but as the saying goes publicity is still publicity, whether good or bad. it just pains me to learn now that these gorgeous talented ladies were not given the treatment that they well deserve back in the days. i am in love with the Pointer sisters. now that i am reading, seeing and knowing things about them makes me realize that they are the best of the best. we all are lucky to have them, their songs and everything they gave to us, their fans. i wish we could have......

@lastmatureman true!!!!

That's Bobcat Goldthwait?! For a moment I thought it was a cameo by Har Mar Superstar! XD

@VirgoDar, I don't remember any controversy either. If anything, that song was (unfortunately) rather ignored upon its release as a single. Besides, it's pretty obvious that the narrator of the song is quite consenting to this !

Mostly, in this video, I love Bobcat Gothwait, because it seems like he entirely has no idea why he is there.

I don't know if the fans out there realize this, when this song came out it cause a bit of a stir in the media,due to the fact that many people thought it was promoting abuse of woman and promting rape.....this song is very tame compared to the trash we are exposed to today......... :[
