That diver who watched over the clowns and helped them, is a HERO

@losunn think that is the most clever thing ive read in the comments here. a padi aow certificate can be obtained way way too easy and should seriously be reviewed.

Great job. I just was in Playa del Carmen and witnessed a woman who was scuba diving less than 100- meters from shore be pulled in unconscious. Don't know the whole story yet, but she died. 58 year old woman in Mexico with her family for a wedding. Very sad. You ARE a hero!

I came to realize that you are checking on 2 random divers and you weren't the DM of the dive. Great job. You are truly a hero. Probably just saved the life of those 2 clowns

thats darwin´s law!

@7Lakings7 oh n if i had two panicked divers i was trained to knock them BOTH out. i was also taught that going in to help victims were the last thing to do, not because i'm valuable, but because if the victim puts my life in danger, you now have two guys drowning instead of one
-
@ahpoolman i was taught the same thing by the marines minus the helicopters in the boy scouts

I am trained as a rescue diver too and I am glad to have run across your video. I only once had to get a guy who was descending too quickly and he also was not watching his depth-gauge. When I tried to pull him up, he pulled me back down because he thought I was ascending too quickly. It was a short dive - ran out of air :)

Thank God you were there and paying attention. This could have turned out very bad.

Good Song choice
So what happens if they let go of you and you have your BCD inflated to lift 3 people? Now you're the one with DCS. Thanks for helping these morons but don't incur this risk.

@clipperTT LOL ClipperTT. You shouldn't think for a second that my skills in the water would ever allow me to loose control of 2 victims. Do you know what the US Navy taught me in a double rescue situation, besides deploying out of helicopters? If I had 2 panicked divers I was trained to knock one out! My life as a rescue swimmer/diver for the Navy was much more valuable then the victims in the water because of the training they put into me. Don't underestimate me skill level. THX
