the reason the steaks come out there back like that is for if your hunting in harder ground you can hammer them in that's why they are metal to

@ribodean I understand but Personally i have never decoyed on ground so hard i needed to hammer decoys in and what do you do when you want to use them on standing crops, you cant because the stake is to short, to be honest it is to short for even low crops like rape. They just copied there idea over from water fowl decoys where the metal stake holds them upright in the water but no good for using on fields. Apart from that they are the nuts for bringing woodies in no doubt about it.

i understand that i don't know how the ground is there i live in the U.S. in my area the ground gets hard but i do see your point i thought it was a great review. good hunting
