Who says vintage teen-age rock is devoid of profound philosophy? There's a good lesson to be learned in the lyrics of this song for people of all ages -- but especially for teen-agers. To sum it up: Life isn't fair. That's tough. Laugh it off and deal with it. And sing a song about it!

I love this song. I think it's the theme song of my life.

I found it on Napster---before I was considered a "thief", lol. If I sang this song almost 50 years ago, I'd be tickled pink that folks liked it, remembered it, and were still looking for it. I would never have found it in a thrift store.

Possibly one of the most underrated songs of the early 60s, I was in junior high and something of a nerd, I'm 62, still a nerd and got goosebumps hearing it again..
