  • much easier said than done to get help...

  • Again, I feel that facilities on campus need to be better in order to prevent this. If you have class all day, and the only place to get food is where you cannot bring food out of the area, it is near impossible to eat. I know I have had to skip meals because I had no food available to me. I started to bring stuff like Boost and Slimfast to class just so I could get by. Now that I have my own apartment, I make a lunch, but what about those who are in the situation I was in?

  • @daadaadaadance

When a person becomes anorexic, they commonly lose A LOT of weight. Without some fat on the body you become cold. So, to keep itself warm, your body grows white 'fur' all over to try and keep you alive.

  • "if you have any of these symptoms talk to a friend or go see a doctor"

Doctor will give you pills which make you gain weight(happened to me at age 10 when my ED got really really bad for the second time) which make you gain too much weight(40 pounds or more in one month) which cause you to freak out and try to lose the weight for years which leads you right back where you started but worse.

Friends will say gain some weight or tell you you look good but if you don't believe it it don't matter.

  • No more period?

    WOOOOOOOOOOOO!

shouldn't have told me that >:D

  • nice... start an eating disorder video with an advertisement about dieting

  • @mommycdm Ohhh okay thanks. So it's like another layer of thin hair along with the hair thats already there.

  • @KWPsidney1 I actually am struggling with EDNOS, a combination of anorexia and bulimia. Not only would you have to worry about tooth decay, but your hair falls out, you're always depressed and you will more than likely destroy the relationships you have with everyone else. The skin on my face started to fall off, like one of those sci-fy movie4s where a characters skin just peels away, and it was painful, and embarrassing. My muscles also randomly stop working because of my potassium levels.

  • @daadaadaadance People who are sarving get Lanugo, a thin layer of hair all over their body to keep them warm. It's one of the sure indicators of an eating disorder.

  • What does he mean by "a DOWNY covering of hair on your body" ? its at 1:33
