  • how did you get the video out of it? does it have video out or can it record?

  • @DanFrederiksen If you get the pro model it can do a LOW resolution on to te SD card.

In the above video, and the preferred method you will want to use the hot shoe (comes with it) and a video capture device.

  • Say, thanks for posting that. I"m in the market for something like this and this is very helpful.

Question: Are the batteries user replacable at all? The unit I saw on some sites uses Lithium batteries, another said NICAD. I'm concerned about the 5 hour battery life and it would be great to be able to slap another battery in. Also worried about long term battery life and cost to send in if not user replaceable. Oh, what is the charge time on the unit? Thanks!

  • @uzibeatle It uses rechargeable AA NIMHA , but you need a small x tip screwdriver to change them out.

  • @uzibeatle IT uses 4 x AA and comes with NIMH. I use mine it cold weather I fount the Eneloope xx 2500 mah work the best in the cold. You can pop some new battery, but you need a screw small x tip screw driver (not to fun in the dark and cold). The 12 volt charger and the home charger both charge fast. I have also used a 12V car battery to charge it.

  • After watching this video I had to buy one.

  • @phoenix1916 I depends a lot on conditions, but I would say the max range you could see a man would be from 700 meters - 1700 meters

  • @wildnv i WAS ASKING, ho far out can it range in distance!?

  • @phoenix1916 No, it can not do range

  • It really depends on the conditions and size of the object. When the ground is covered in snow on a cold night you could see a a deer at 2000 meters
