I created this "tornado lamp" using a blu-ray laser and some cheap and easy to find parts. This whole build can be completed for $15 and looks AWESOME!

This setup is essentially a violet laser "time tunnel" shining through fluorescent liquid.

    I'm at college, Southern Illinois University Carbondale to be exact. I'm in a dorm, so I can't shoot videos here. I'm hoping to get some videos up on my breaks. Future plans include 3W RGB lasers...
