Part II describes the Battle of Belleau Wood and OSS Operations in Europe and North Africa during World War II. Part I provides an introduction and discusses the Marines' assault on Tripoli in 1805. Part III discusses the history of the Marines in Ireland and the Marine Corps Pipes & Drums Band; as well as recent operations in the theaters of Europe and North Africa, including the rescue of Air Force pilot Scott O'Grady in Bosnia. I actually do like the modern music, gives it a history channel effect with a factful approach to it
do you know the name of the hill that the Marines took, on which the brits and french lost a couple hundred thousand casualties in the previous 3 years of the war?

Good effort on this story. Well done. I don't know if I like the modern music with so many of the old photographs and footage. But, it is different and that is good. Good work on finding the footage. There are only a few errors that many people consider common knowledge and are false. "Devil dogs" for instance. Not really true, but they teach it in boot so oh well.

My living grandfather was a usmc sergeant and fought in europe. North africa, sicily, italy and germany. I cant find any information about usmc landings on sicily, near seracuse. And his foughts near kaiserslautern, germany. Could anyone help me?
