I like the original better, this doesn't have the magic of the original one. The Choir and the harmony is just great, I love that. I usually listen to jazz fusion, but Jazz Police is my favorite song at the moment.

I am having trouble understanding why so many LC fans dislike this song so vehemently. I personally think it is one of his most creative and original compositions, and am willing to provide both a brief formal and referential analysis to support this claim.

I agree with the first comment (from LeonardAndNickFan. It does swerve towards good in a few places, but then goes off of the rails again. A bizarre song from an otherwise brilliant album (I'm Your Man).

Okay. Sorry. But, here goes. I am THE biggest Leonard fan in the world... but jeeezzzuusss I hate this song. May you find comfort in the fact that you've rendered it better than LC ever did. WHY would you even bother, though... I'm seriously curious.

They did a whole show on Cohen, both the good and the bad. This is muchas better than the original. IvanAstronaut - they are based in Sydney, in the Leichardt area I believe. The tour quite often, and were in Melbourne a few months ago. A great live band.
