  • ohhhh! where is his safety harness in case he falls?

  • Looks like it wasnt hard for his first day of the job.

  • Very bad idea. Not serve the long... The metal is too thin and susceptible to heat...

  • sorry i realized i wrote "316 gauge " lol i got ahead of myself i was watching t.v when i was writing ... its a 24 gauge 316 grade stainless steel lining that is needed for a fuel oil installation.. as far as firebox to liner sizing a square or rectangle lining needs to be 10 % and a round liner 12% of the total firebox opening and you can also measure the glass door I.D if you want because technically when a door is on that is the firebox opening...

  • if that was a oil flue i hope you used a 316 guage if so i wouldnt be worried about using a flex liner-- its fine -- but if that was for a fireplae then you prob just down sized it make sure you measure the firebox opening the liner needs to be at least 10% of the firbox opening when using a round liner- sometimes that can be acheived by installing a 4" or 6" smoke guard

  • Ummm, not for nuthin dude, but that's an oil flue.

I don't want to ever see you installing another one of those liners to an oil unit.

Now go back and rip it out, or I will.

I always do, I rip em out and intsall smoothwall liners for oil applications, either that or rigind stainless if there are no bends or shifts.

    That was a quick $2400.00 !

I hope ya got at least tripple bone for that 20 minute job.

  • i wood never hire you!
