  • Excellent except... Let me just say this: Flat wounds rule. Try 'em, especially for that true 60s sound. That's pretty much what everyone used back in the day (Jamerson, McCartney, Joe Osborn, Carol Kaye, etc.). Ya think maybe they knew something?

    But nice job.

    I play the bass ('75 Fender Precision) in a SF area band called the Rip-Tides, and we do this tune. On the guitar solo I start on the A, go to the G (chord), then go back up to the A, and then go up to a C (it just seems right on that
