Were you initially digitally zoomed in as well as optically? It seems you zoomed out in two spurts, and I'm guessing the first was the digital zoom. If so, that's cool you can do both.

Yes, The digital zoom were on which is away faster, then the optical zoom slower. I now own a Sanyo HD1010, I miss the Panasonic Optical Image Stabilizer its great.

Off course, We wouldn't be able to see anything if it was off, even the camera wouldn't focus. I find the anti shake amazing,away better then SANYO digital one.
