I got a kitten from someone nearby without seeing the mother (first time kitten buyer, oops, but he's happy and healthy says the vet).. but it turns out he's a black maine coon or at least part maine coon... started off tiny but now he's 5 months old and i'm trying to find out where he measures up size-wise. He's grown a whole lot in the time i've had him!! anyone got pics of them (or someone else) holding a 5 month coon? for reference

My maine coon does this too. He is about 6 months, we got him from a shelter. Not sure who would abandon such an amazing cat. Gentle, loving, playful and so funny... And he has a good cat family to wrestle and wash, they are so adorable:-)

She's a dead ringer for my Coon Rosie,what a pain in the ass she is,she only misbehaves when I am in the room,alone she's perfect but add me to the equation and instant trouble!

Maine Coons is such lovely cats. Their personalitys is so unique. And i just love their special way of talking. Not at all like other "normal" cat.
Can´t wait to get my maine coon home now. :)

This cat is GORGEOUS. My dad has a cow-spotted maine coon, but the poor guy doesn't have a tail, just a poof.

Yep, that what making the bed at my house is like...the 80lb Am staff is really the most "helpful" the cat I can live with. ;)
