  • This will explain why I can't find a freakin can opener :(

  • Maybe I'm not as big as a star but I'm smarter than a star. I hope that counts for something.

  • so who else thinks tha planet Earth is there for us to make it eat our Shit? ... yea, I thought so. what a waste

  • @rubikbrewer Is that in the Northern or Southern hemisphere?

  • Well, I think we are pretty significant. We can see the stars count them etc. The Star just sits there and looks pretty. Consciousness is bigger than those stars.

  • Man is most foolish when he/she knows that he/she is small but acts as if he/she is significant. Look at just these few stars that are known to us and say "wow" and "wooo", and humble at your insignificance.

  • Wow...god didn't utilize space to well, did he?

    hmmmmmm....:)

and while I'm at it, he/she could have made our bodies a little better too. Like evolution, god must be indifferent as well....

or could they be one in the same?

  • The second to last Red Supergiant is called "Mu Cephei" NOT "My Cephei". It is common to use Greek letters for star designations. In any event, it is also known as Herschel's Garnet Star, and is visible in December at around 8:00 pm to the left (West) of the North Star, near the Milky Way band, in a line extending from Sadr thru Deneb and about 2.5 times the distance out from these two stars, halfway between Alpha and Zeta Cephei. The Garnet Star is in Cepheus, hence its name, Mu Cephei.

  • love it.

  • whoa..... i feel pretty small right now
