@htrayray501 I think you can interpret this song in many ways. The drug theory applies wonderfully but for me.. this song illustrated a painful relationship I was putting myself through. If fact, this song helped me. I listened to it day and night while trying to get over this boy. I was deeply hurt, but you are right.. it's a song about letting go. And it really did help me let go.

You were mine once... And i lost my way. You're love is an infection, but it wasn't black always... Once you were mine, and i never use to cry. Once you were mine, but now you've died.
I'll never forget you Allie. Never. I'll see you soon...

@htrayray501 It`s not about anything what are you saying, that is only your point of view. Everybody out there can interpret the song however they like.

I play this over and over again until I doze off

@htrayray501 Wow.... Just wow.
This song is very deep and emotional. It is the "coming down" song, after all the party songs. This is the song you listen to after a night of raving, etc. The sun begins to rise and you start to feel again and reflect on your life. I feel like this song is about recovery/sobriety. The "love" in this song is the drug/alcohol.. whatever. Everything we've come to "love" about this drug, we realize actually has been hurting us. This song is about letting it go.
