  • Great slideshow Jane! I don't remember ever seeing a picture of the Pix theater before. If I remember right, the bakery was in where that theater used to be.

  • Both of my parents were raised in Luverne, and I still have family there. I remember coming to Luverne down Hiway 75 and looking for the turkey farm and the little church in front of the Blue Mound Inn.(it was such a great place to eat) last time I was in Luverne, (coming in from hiway 75); there was no turkey farm and the BMI is no longer open; I was so sad those are gone now but your video is so great and was so wonderful to see my Grandpa's shop. Thank you so much for sharing

  • wow the little church next to bluemound inn..such a great place. so sad it closed. vanwhye tv was still there in the 90's he hated my dad haha they did the same kind of business. luverne is such a great place.. thanks for this vid!!

  • I love Luverne MN

  • @zaggaona

At football games in pipestone if you support the Luverne team and are by yourself, you will get beat up. But here in Luverne we're too mature and nice to beat anyone. I have lived in Luverne my entire life and nothing like that has ever happened.

  • i used to live in luverne mn the people are so nice there, so friendly. loved the change from chicago. just a town over in pipestone people where really racist to me and rude f*ck pipestone!!!

  • This blows,,,,,Karla Reu says so
