IT's because the original creator of the game shut down. So all licensees has to go down as well. Really sad... :(

you ought to try it out, it is unconventional with the different classes and gameplay, not just mainly on shooting the monsters, character skills, stat points, many more variables than a standard shoot 'em up, evasion is of course needed in this game(as of touhou) but there are still many other factors that come into play, it's a pretty good game IMO
