  • Dear Simon, those pipes are laying deep into ocean. Aeratin would require air under higher pressure than static pressure of water + compresors+energy+ functionability (in 10 years of nonfunctioning, the cheap pipes will be full of "crocodiles" :) . It is not as easy as it seams.

  • @SimonCowellAI A government is a dictatorship when it can force its citizens to do things without its citizens being the ones to grant that power. Do you really want to live in a world where your choice is taken from you and made for you?

  • The government should force the oil industry to have aeration pipes along all production pipelines in the gulf, that they can aerate the water in the case of an oil spill. These could just be cheap, plastic PVC pipes, not expensive.
