Not realone, realones used different chassis, not used in war, 105mm would throw wholething on itsback everyround...

@traxhax30 The German specification of the type was "Panzerfeldhaubitse auf Lorraine Schlepper"... it was one of the many "so-called" hybrids that never been used in tank-to-tank battles... only for bombardements on long range. (and thàt is the reason why the gunners were only half-covered.)

i was confused by the chassis for a few moments then i realized that it was the french gun tractor chassis probably one of the few still left that runs.

half the compartment is over the ass end of the vehicle...yeah, that looks safe.

the lorraine 37L chassis was found in a french farm on 2001, it was used to tirrer trees...it was equipped with an diesel engine by the previous owner. the original engine,Delahaye 103TT, had been kept. the armor plating was done again.
an 105 sFh18 barrel was found in Normandie...
since this video was taken restoration went gone
