I remember this day it was like very bitter sweet --- it started out with a bang with the montage and ended on a note wishing it would have came back for another season...to bad they messed that up with CW's Melrose Place.

i wish i had been able to watch mp as it was airing. sadly i was only 6 months old when the pilot aired and seven and a half when it ended.

monday may 24,1999 was indeed a sad day for both television and the wwf
the night before,owen hart died after tragic fall,the next night the superstars paid tribute to owen on raw is raw entitled" raw is owen,both the last episode of melrose and wwf raw had high ratings that night.

@tazzy755 I was bummed out, too! However, that last season DID go through the motions!! I was disappointed that Lexie dyed her hair brick red, as opposed to flaming red!!! Also, the show lost its SAVAGERY, after Nick left for good!!!

kimberly was the best character on the show! standing by amanda! but seriously the show would have been TERRIBLE if she hadn't been on in! go marcia! (and heather!)

I'd like to say that John Newton should have been in more episodes. He's really one of the actors today that has shown that he has what it takes to be in any type of roll. If you don't believe me, Watch the Hallmark Channel"s highest rated tv movie. (The Christmas Card} I Think you'll become one of John"s fans and also a fan of this tv movie.

Thanks for posting this promo! I agree with a previous poster about today's primetime soaps needing to be as outrageous as MP. Hope MP 2009 fixes that hole...
