This is one of our favorite songs by him. We bought the record in the 70's, then we found another one and bought that too. Good music like this is gone forever, not many of the old timers left anymore, what a sad state Country Music is in today. We saw him live in Branson MO, what a nice man he was and we had a great time visiting with him after the show. It was the thrill of a lifetime.

I was in a country band call THE WAGON WHEELS in 73-75, and I sang this song, I forgot it after all this time I'm glad to hear it again

Great song.........I used to go to see his shows when he traveled around Maine back in the mid 60's. He is one of my all time favorite singers.
