man I wish you had a service in NorCal
What's a ballpark of what that would cost? I may just ship this tank to you. I have found lots of PDR places that do cars but one that knows bike tanks it what's up
-
Can you do the same for chrome tanks
-
You got a typo in the video. Saraosta, FL

nice vid. I made the tool after seeing this vid...now will try to check my own skill on one damaged and unused tank.

Nice work, however commented on "water in the tank then frozen" to remove a dent, sounds like a crock. unless it was a pooter dent and we have to assume the tank was sealed tight filled to capacity, and the pressure was greater than the resistance of the dent and my meat locker freezer was empty. Just pay the $200 and get a dent pulled IMO.

Hi, where i can buy the tool for tank dent removal, thank.
-
and your tank ended up twice the size and you got more miles to the gallon lool
-
my bike got blown up by a tank mine... can it be fixed whit those tools?
-
@stevescar1 didn't the frozen water just come up out of the filler hole when it froze? If you kept the hole closed, weren't you worried it would cause cracking?

very nice repair
Nice but what do you do with double walled tanks like the ones found on Harley's?

It depends on which year and model Harley. Some are double walled, some are not. Glue pulling is an option, but Harley's are known to have weak clear coat and some very thick metal. If a customer emails us a digital photo of their dent including year, make, and model. We can do a little research. If it seems repairable they can ship the tank in for repair.
