  • Is it me or his new guitar isn't 'straight' like the other ones? :0

  • If you're talking about his guitar's neck, then it was tilted and at an angle at the night of the show.

  • This is awesome i was looking up examples of a zoom h2 and stumbled upon Andy McKee, my creative writing teacher introduced his music to me this year, very niice :]

  • um wth is his neck twiated or sumthin?

  • @NintendoDSKid its a fan fret guitar you muppet

  • Oh, it's actually between the 7th and 9th frets, sorry.

  • There we go, this is the video I talked about in my reply. watch?v=cQX-WgT0ACQ

  • @terryfrancisfrench Just like everyone else has said, it's called fanned frets. There's another video where Andy speaks about it, and explains that on a normal guitar, I believe he says on about the 11th and 12th frets, it's actually like it's out of tune. This is caused by the lengths of the strings, and the fanned frets, along with the angled bridge help correct it.

  • what is up with the neck on the guitar?

  • Breakin out new jokes!

  • its called a fan-fret guitar...makes for better intonation up and down the whole neck
