Its funny reading the comments about people who dont live at Crescent Head. I was a bodyboarder myself and went through the same thing but its about proving yourself to every other surfer in the water that your really good! I got out of it and rode Longboards! I love it and I dont have any problems with anyone in the water, but there will always be a dickhead in the water that wants to cause friction by dropping in on everyone and dont give a s**t.
It will be like that every break you surf at!
