Grasshopper1 has a structural problem on its rear suspension for racing-use.

IRS conversion is the most simple way for its solution.

So, I did first modifying in summer 1984 and I used XR311's suspension parts, drive-cups and dog-bones for modification.

Thanks for the memories. I had the original grasshopper which was my first hobby grade rc car i ever saved up for. My favorite car of all time and the one that has stood in my mind for all these years. My second would be the Lunchbox. I ended up selling these in a garage sale for close to nothing. Wish i would have kept all my original gear.

I used to race these years ago, like 12 years ago, me and my friends chipped in like £40 each when we were 12 and built it ourselfs, did you build yours yourself and is it a little challenging to put it together?
