This is the Video from Mark Gilmore's in car cam at Susquehanna Speedway durring the 5th anual Candy Bowl on October 31st 2009. Durring the Practice and Makeup Feature. Mark Started outside pole with his teamate Jeff Schall on the pole for the feature. Susquehanna is a 4/10th mile track. This was the first time we ever ran on a track this size. our gearing was off the week before but we finally got it dialed in and was alot faster this week. In the feature Jeff schall had to check up and lift to avoid hitting the tires with his lf and Mark was not able to slow in time and hit Jeff's right rear shooting the front off marks car in the air and spinning him out.

  • I was shifting 5th and 6th. I didn't finish. The car didn't feel right under Yellow I thought something seriouse was broke. Turned out to just be a twisted Bar and LF Shock got a little messed up. Jeff Finished 3rd.

  • The PomCam car video system is under $100 and drivers are going wild over them. I love mine.

  • i run at airport speedway in deleware with the 55L. my mom went to college at susquahana .

  • Hmm. 19 second laps on a 4/10 mile track is about 76 mph. When I ran with SOW6 down in TX and LA, we'd run 12-13 second laps on 1/4 mile tracks, or 69-75 mph. We'd run up into the 90s on the few tracks the size of Susquehanna that we ran at...at one 7/16 mile track we were hitting 130 mph at the end of the straights.

    A little fast for a 600.

Was Susquehanna a little slick in this video? I didn't see too much mud flying.
