@CCEarnhart Words are overrated.

this song makes me happy. : )

This song always gives me the uncontrollable urge to run naked with a bunch of my friends through a field. We wake up hours later with no recollection of what happened. It's awesome.

Jonsi calls it "Hopelandic", that's his gibberish language. I think he uses it to get melodies and sometimes prefers songs to not have real lyrics for whatever reason. The album "()" or "Parentheses" was entirely hopelandic, the cover sleeve even had no lyrics and no song titles apart from track numbers, telling people that if they wanted to put lyrics to it they could and name it. Very unique artists and I love them all the more for it :)

@MaskFaceDude also apperently they like to sometimes sing in complete jibberish (using vocals as an instrument itself without the words making sense at all)

@DeDarkSajd Maybe an Icelander would think they made sense, but I don't know, because I'm not one (I haven't even lived there). The translation is my own; and it was hard to do, as they got completely rid of word order when writing it; saying things like (literally) "you eyes blow in sand cry." (Þú augu fjúka í sand tárast) but because it has some aspects in grammar that english does not, you can make some sense out of it.

Love it!
you know a song is good when you dont understand a word it says and you cant stop replaying it.
