I was 13 and about 30 of my older brothers friends were going to this show. I drove with some of his friends and all they did was smoke pot the entire ride. I sat in a cloud and had the most fun a 13 year old can have driving to a concert 60 miles from home.
I knew Led Zeppelin from AM radio. But I really didn't know Led Zeppelin till I saw this show. I was sitting about 50 feet from the stage on the floor. And I was blown away. When Plant hit those opening howls in the first song "The Immigrant Song" I honestly didn't know it was his voice before the show. I heard that song on the radio and just thought they were horns or the keyboard. (HEY' I was 13) But I fell in love with that band and never forgot that show with 4 encores.
I had every album, poster, book or magazine article about them.
They were one of the best parts of my youth. I still constantly play the cd's in my SUV. And it all began this night at the Nassau Colosseum.

A legendary show where Zeppelin really shines and plays some of their best music this tour! Robert's voice is incredibly gutsy and the band is unstoppable as they roll through the set! Dazed And Confused is beyond belief and the Whole Lotta Love medley is exceptional, with many obscure references. The encores are great including a rare, great version of Weekend. During the last encore the auditorium joining in with the whole band so Plant said: "I wanna hear you louder than us!"

This was my first concert - the arena was brand new - I just finished grade school - I was 13 years old - I am 49 now - still one of the best concerts I ever saw and I have seen them all except the Beatles, Hendrix and the Doors. I hope Led Zeppelin tours in 2008 and I will be there!

Yes, I was there, 23 years old, a guitar player, with my band friends, high on acid, the 2nd zepplin concert. Wow, what a concert, dazed and confused and stairway to heaven were my highlights and not being able to get out of the stadium...and not being able to find the car; but, we made alot of friends in the parking lot. Long Live Led Zepplin!!

this was my only one concert of LED ZEPPELIN and loved till today, after 36 years

  • this show was played in New York, not the Bahamas

  • Wish I'd been in the Bahamas then!!!

    This is awesome. Wow. Good.

    They rock like tectonic plates.

Anything else I should bring home?

Fancy a jam butty? (not for canadians)

Voulez vous pain, beurre et confit des framboises? Tryin' to love this and SILBY too.

Sweetest little channel that I ever saw, etc. Great MONSTER riffs, Bonzo hits those skins as if he knew someday Percy would do his recent version of Blackdog.
