My House On Counter-Strike: Source Preview - TO SCALE

This is a preview of a map I am working on, I will release it for GarrysMod when it is finished. It is going to be very interactive. The TV works, and I am adding more programmes and adverts, the PC works and you can go on YouTube, Myspace, Hammer (SDK), and others, The piano plays music from The Sims, the radio plays music, all doors open including the fridge doors and cupboards, people call the house every so often, you can use the microwave and also the oven. I am adding much much more. Includes custom models I downloaded from GarrysMod, it uses custom textures from the cncr04s texture pack, a few textures (eg the ceiling) I found on google images, and some I put together for my old map of Tesco. Custom sounds have been recorded, ripped from videos, converted into 44100 frequency and found from google searches. The phone messages are members of my family or friends, and the phone sound was recorded from my real phone.

I built it using a 3:4 scale (the scale for real world to geometry in SDK). In other words, 3 real world inches = 4 squares on Hammer.

Did you make this all in hammer or did you do some custom modeling too?

@rockoman100 100% Hammer... Turned some things into models using Propper. Some models I got from Garrysmod to use as decoration (DVD cases, Pringles, some other ornamental stuff), but most major things (sofas etc) I made out of brushes using a tape measure, sketch pad and a calculator (sometimes a camera too).

--UPDATE: Part 2-- Things going to be added: . Upstairs master bedroom . Upstairs second bedroom . Upstairs bedroom . Brook behind garden . Access to neighbour's garden (like in real life, they have a low fence) . More random events like rain, dogs barking etc etc . Lots of interactivity with the new objects . Secret warp in a closet to reach a room full of comparison pictures of real life . Small lighting errors fixed . Attic area (should be cool)

Okay guys it's decided! My main computer is getting repaired, when it is fixed I will finish work on this map! Updates to the map which have already happened:

. Stereo I made myself which works

. Downstairs bathroom created

. New advert on TV (will be a surprise what it is)

. Part of the garden, may make neighbour's conservatory accessible

. Part of the front street

. Part of the upstairs but needs lots of work still (!!!)

@KazakXGT Well I might start work on this again soonish. I need to first get my main computer fixed, then I'll be able to finish the mapping. The upstairs is just very difficult to do due partly to dimensions and the textures especially. The downstairs bathroom is finished for the map. But yeah...

Can you really play the piano music from the sims that well? LOL and it looks like it could be inside of an apartment building... hmm Ideas of drawing my house... oh yeah it'll never work. I'll end up drawing what I WANT my house to be like and not how it IS... MORE ideas since my house is an rv! can you make a brush driveable? and be able to attach everything inside of it To it so it all goes along with it? now I want to see an 1989 Fleetwood Bounder in source engine =3 sorry about the rant...
