Too bad this Peters is such a nut job. Do you realize how many Lt Cols retire from the US military every year and why the services retire these light birds? Let's take one of hundreds of middle managers at IBM who just retired this year, declare him an expert on ANYTHING, and put him in front of a camera. Catch my drift?

It's funny how many people have already determined that this was a terrorist act based of few facts and many assumptions. The FBI has determined that the shooter acted alone, without any outside help or direction. He was a mentally ill, loner who lost it.. Nothing new.

I am no big Obama supporter. However, it is shameful that some conservatives woud distort the facts in order to hang the word "terrorism attack" on Obama. The shooting was not his fault (period)

I don't recall any outspoken, intelligent conservatives claiming this attack was all Obama's fault. Also, why do you assume terrorism MUST have more than one person involved? Is that in the official definition of terrorist attack?

That's the problem with most liberals over the last week, they are stretching for reasons to NOT call it a terrorist attack, which is VERY frustrating and scary. This type of political correctness is at fault here, and people like you will continue to pursue it. :(

we know a lot of facts now. he said it was a muslim's duty to kill infidels in a class presentation. he stated repeatedly he was a muslim first, american second. he held the koran as higher law to the constitution. he called himself a soldier of allah. he communicated with al-awlaki, a terrorist imam. despite all this, he was promoted to major and no one said a thing because of PC fear.

he didn't just "lose it." he planned the attack and yelled "allahu akbar." whar more do you need? wake up

ALL muslims currently infiltrated into our military should be arrested and tried as spies and ALL muslims currently in the USA should be immediately deported. By 'immediately' I mean TODAY. These 'inside jobs' have got to stop NOW, from the current fraudulently elected muslim Commander-In-Chief to the latest muslim jihad operative, Hasan. We did the same thing during WWII and should immediately do it again TODAY at least until after the war(s) with the muslims has ended.

They ("they" meaning including the military) seem to be playing footsie with formally connecting the dots to a muslim connection because of a possible backlash from within the ranks.
But, the writing is already clearly on the wall, regardless of what "they" say.
