Boy Meets Tree in Dad's BMW X5

Information gathered from various witnesses. Should not be considered fact. "Miles" (Saratoga High Student) borrows Dad's BMW X5. "Miles" sees his buddies, shows off by peeling out of the Saratoga Inn parking lot. Looses traction and crashes into a tree and lives to see another day.

Uh, your voice over says rescue 17 but the video shows engine 30. and BMW does not have onstar

Visit SCCFD website and go to "Stations Maps" and select Station 17 in Saratoga, you will see the a list of their equipment.

"Now County Rescue 17, Saratoga Rescue 30", so they haven not changed the number on the engine yet.

BMW has BMW Assist which is an OnStar type service, the dispatcher is probably not aware of the different service names for all the OnStar type services.

You can listen to Bay Area fire communication at the website Firescan just Google Firescan it should be the first listing. You can listen to a live stream of call from Saratoga, plus all the other calls from Santa Clara County. You can also listen to recorded call from Saratoga.

OMG...I really hope that the kid got a whoopin' for this, if not physically, at least verbally.

You don't do this kind of s*** on public roads you idiots! Hit the local race track!

If worse comes to worse when you are racing at the track, there are EMT's there to scrape your ass off the road immediately so they can get your carcass to the hospital! Jeez!

Sorry but I have seen far too many careless drivers and I really don't want any stupid kids to be the victims of their own accidents.
