  • @ganyindia,

Well, now that you know I dont present ideas in a way that you want to see it, stop looking into my work. Solves your problem, right?

  • @ganyindia,

Now, you have provided information about my quality of thoughts. Just because you provided it, did my thoughts improve?

Will my thoughts improve only after I act upon it?

What is the value of your information if I am not going to act on it?

Quality is eveyrone's responsibility and not just a testers responsibility. Many testers are made to think of themselves as Gods of Quality while they are actually not.

  • @Shariargowtham,

The mission in my life is to irritate bad testers and looks like I am doing fine after reading your comment.

  • I didn't enjoy the video.

You take too much time to explain the ideas.

It looks and sounds like you're presenting to children.

  • I should point out, though, that sometimes it is useful to write test cases because it can help you think more carefully about what you are doing. One video I watched suggested making lists of tasks--something an experienced tester can interpret. Perhaps something in the middle would be useful--a list of reminders about specific ways to test features?

  • I think it could have been said in 2 minutes, but I liked the illustration and the thoughts. Thanks.

  • I think the question of improving the quality of the software by testing is a broad one and cannot be dismissed so easily. But I agree that testing by itself does not improve the quality of the software,

  • Very well explained! Iam one of those who is really interested knowing more about QA testing . Do you have any testing basic tutorials or something?

  • Take it as a constructive criticism.

Yourself had admitted that testing provides information about quality which means it improves quality.

Do you mean to say that Testers should not be considered as a stakeholder for the AUT's successful release.I request you to present all your comments and thoughts but definitely not at the cost of other's self respect.Learn to present any article in an assertive way, please.

    Thanks. Bothered Tester!!!

  • Thanks Pradeep, I enjoy your talks and writings. Your efforts to promote context-driven testing are advancing our craft.

  • basically too much copy-paste

but, what about automation? test-script doesn't find the bug? I'm not even in building... its running overnight like 2000 cycles... like shariargowtham said.. lets not get into semantics.
