  • @GOPofHawaii

When a tourist comes to your state and spends his money he is doing so because the enjoyment he recieves is worth more to him than the money. This is voluntary exchange, the heart of capitalism, and it is always mutually beneficial.

However; When the government takes this persons money through taxes and funnels it through the military and to your state, this is a coerced exchange.

Its a form of wealth redistribution which ALWAYS makes us poorer because it takes the choice..

  • @GOPofHawaii if it's meaningless then why bother? you just put your foot in your mouth

  • BOYCOTT TUCSON AZ THEY KILLED MY DOG SUKI ON 1/5/2011

R.I.P. SUKI , WE MISS AND LOVE YOU!!

    FUCK YOU McCAIN AND TUCSON!@_)(*&^%$#@!

  • @GOPofHawaii The 8% was the expectation. Find me an economist that can tell me an exact number in the future and I bet he will be a trillionaire. You saying it did not work because he did not make his goal is like someone saying Apple was not successfull for not meeting it's return on profit. Guess what it was still profitable. We were on a course for double digit unemployment and possibly reaching 20%. Do the math and just add the auto industry and bank industry jobs that would have been lost.

  • @jescobar96 I had a discussion with chaseef and a debate with Wrodjr over three months ago. When I had not received any more comments relevant to what I had been saying, I closed my books on this video. Sorry, but I am not interested in participating in another week long YouTube debate. Cheers and good bye.

  • @jescobar96 I'm not too fond of Bush, but I must say it doesn't do justice to not include the negatives of what President Obama has done to the country when you bring in Bush. So with that, no, I'm not afraid of black. And if you're seriously trying to bring race into this discussion (which I hope you are not and I'm just misunderstanding you), you're creating additional problems to the ones we already have. Race has no correlation in our economy problem.

  • @jescobar96 GM, who have created thousands of jobs since they were bailed out, have still not officially paid back their gov't loans with money made by them alone (I can send you a video if needed). We can do stimulus after stimulus, and the only result we will get is a increased debt and more businesses and companies on life support from the gov't. The way you turn the economy around is allowing businesses to do what they do best: Make money.

  • @jescobar96 I assume you are referring the stimulus, so I will address your comment from that: The intended effect of the Stimulus, as said by President Obama and his Administration, was to prevent the unemployment rate from jumping past 8%. Obviously that is not the case. What's worse is that they won't admit that mistake. And the problem with the Stimulus is, the jobs created by it last only until the Stimulus money runs out.

  • @GOPofHawaii People were not mad when Bush was spending like this and most of that deficit is a result of his policy. No child behind remains unfunded, the medicaire prescription plan, 2 wars. TARP saved our monetary system that is why you can still get money out of an ATM and the Stimulus stopped the severe job losses of 800 thousand a month. GM was saved and those jobs were saved, the jobs of the people working at the bank were saved. Ar you seriousor just afraid of black.

  • @GOPofHawaii Easy. 40% of it was tax credits and as the last administration proved tax credits don't work. It only created a huge bublle and it imploded on us. If the stimulus would have been 100% infrastructure it would have had a better effect. When you work on infrastructure you hire people to build and material is bought so you employ and the companies that supply material keep their employees. It's intended effect was to stop the bleeding and not reach 20% unemployment.

  • What a hypacrite. He states that goverment spending in infrastructure does not create jobs but yet Military spending which is also government spending saves or creates 100,000 thousand jobs. I think we can do the same job spending 500 billion instead of 700 billion on defense. Screw Haliburton fire them now and get rid of all those expensivie private contract. Our boys and girls in uniform can do the same job. We can give them a raise compared to 150k a year mercs that we hire for security.
