these cops are brainless - their 'decision' is based on being 'on-the-line'...meaning, i have no problem with this, but am unwilling to say that to a boss who might be really mad at me...spineless! Fantastic cyclecar concept guys!!! : )

u dont have to register a push bike. in australia u can have a puch bike with a 49cc motor on it and not get it registered...

the cops are pathetic.. you don't need insurance drivers licence ect.. cause its not a motorized automobile/vehical... to legal make some get off a road without insurance it needs to be motorized.. they can't charge/fine you under any act, because they can only fine someone whos driving a motorized vehical, i would of told the cop no were not gonna have to car towed and your harrasing us.. and well the cops were harassing them, if you don't beleive me study law :) also check out freemanontheland

You can't blame the cop for this, lol. I'm sure if enough people had pedal cars they would be legal to use, but having 1 guy in what is visually an automobile going snails pace on a public road IS dangerous.

This has nothing to do with the fact that it's not a motor vehicle. It's an insurance concern because it isn't registered/insured in the event of an accident. These are public roads and it is in everyone's interest that vehicles are safe. The officer was being proactive and I don't think the event was too traumaic for those involved.
