I am a 25 year vet of the art of metal guitar. I am a lover of the 80's bands. Thats what i listened to and played. G lynch, Jake E. LEE, DEMARTINI ETC. i have never played the drums, but i think this is the best drum tonei have ever heard othe than a miked up set that is used during a concert

@sabreizHere Wow just saying this is a soundcheck, the point is to make sure that the sound is right, not show off what an amazing drummer he is. its pretty much like watching someone warmup in a sport and be like "hes not that good, i can do that" go watch a video of him actually trying. god i hate ignorant little fucks.

@Schecter0011 Atleast ur honest and don't talk out ur arse like sum pricks do, shannon is talented n i respect him, it's just alot of others r slightly more advanced imo. I respect every1 that has a fair opinion like u. My aim was just to give u mre info on othr drumers 2 look at. Anther risin star is Matt Nicholls from BMTH, alot say hes sloppy but he makes the band not bloody oli sykes. He's only been playin 3yrs, which others dnt take into consideration, 1st vid if u search, "BMTH soundcheck"

@IJayCee101 OK understood.Although I still disagree.Shannon is surely a talented drummer and will remain one of my idols.As a guitarist, I am not as familiar with drums and stuff like that than you probably are.I respect those other drummers you mentioned.They are surely also talented,but I have to add that Shannon is a very precise drummer where it comes to skill and technique.Another drummer I recently found out about is Romain Goulon...a very talented.I strongly suggest you check him out.

@Schecter0011 Shannon is very quick but like alot of those bands in that genre, quick is all what they do with sum use of triplets, u clearly haven't heard of Matt Griener, who does actually have creativity with speed, however if ur bargainin on just speed u chose wrong, Lech from as blood runs black, hes better and quicker then shannon, slightly more creative rather then just tryna hit snare and bass as fast as posssible, speed aint everything
