Sounding as inspired singing acoustic songs of loss and longing as she does raising the roof with soaring anthems and programmed beats, Foxes song-writing has a raw honesty that sets her apart..

Born in Southampton into a creative family Louisa wasted no time in following her sister to London when she turned 18. Living out of a suitcase and sleeping on sofas, she continued her musical studies until it became clear that life viewed from a Starbucks window offered more inspiration than the classroom. Since dropping out of college in early 2010 she has been immersed in songwriting, performing and plotting her future.

Inspired by strong, imaginative, female performers, from Nina Simone and Patty Smith to Kate Bush and Bjork, Foxes powerful live performances have been turning heads over the last few months, the acoustic accompaniment allowing her voice, songs and captivating stage presence to speak for themselves. With her début single scheduled for release in early 2012, and the buzz spreading fast, it won't be long until her live shows grow to match the scale of her musical ambition.
