@whytezombie lol. ok man. i do know the feeling. getting thru or over that obstacle and not having to get out and pull cable is nice. i'm considering putting this motor on my 8274, but it's $1400.

Winches certainly are useful in a bind but if you can get through something without them it just feels better. Know what I mean?

Lockers in mud like this will only make all 4 wheels spin equally. A good winch is money well spent in terrain like that.

nice set up. did you have to do anything else to the electrical part of the winch?
i have an 8274 on my tj with dual yellow top optimas. this would be a great upgrade to my winch.
and you two dumbasses should realize you don't need a lift and lockers with a good winch.
