@BLACKLACDTS Thanks man. He built it to be different, 3200 is with driver and some added weight. He has to weigh in at 3200lbs to be legal in the Vamp Racing Series.

@87gn this pinto is 3200lbs???? wtf! why build it then? i thought people build these because there light but a fox mustang coupe is lighter then that. anyway i do love this pinto its a sick car.

@hillbillydeluxe08 Dude, That was a tube chassis, big tire ,sissy bar, race car that had a fiberglass body and plastic windows that came in on a trailer. This pinto has a stock steel body all stock suspension and weights over 3,200 pounds and is on a radial tire.drove 40 miles to the track went low 8's @ over 172 miles an hour and drove home. I never saw your pinto go 7's. I was there on May 7th, I have the vids (posted). Cool car but it wouldn't have a chance against this street car.

5/7/2011 At this same strip(KCIR) there was a 7 second 4 cylinder pinto that stomped everyones ass including this V8 one. I will try to Snag a video if i see the guy there again.

Just sayin its a cool car as yours is too. I like the idea of the ford 4 cylinder motor from a 1986 mustang svo going 7's tube chassis or not.

@hillbillydeluxe08 Cool. Tube chassis or not that 4cyl is making some major horsepower. Check my vids from the hooters cruise. I know I got the black pinto at least once. It would have been cool to line them up.
