I really hate the wobble distortion you see in most consumer camcorders. Drives me bonkers. The CMOS sensors may have more accurate colors and have less grain but when all motion happens in the wobble mode, I just cant look at it. Rolling Shutter must go. So a blog that I follow suggested the Canon Powershot A1200. It uses a CCD sensor and shoots at 720p at 24fps. Perfect. Got it in the mail today and I am a very happy man.
The YouTube video called "Test video - Canon A3300" shot with the PowerShot A3300 IS looks smoother to me.
Can you please comment on this or direct me to the blog that you follow?
Thansks!

I cannot choose between the Canon PowerShot A1200 (to shoot at 720p @ 24fps) and the Canon PowerShot A3300 IS (to shoot at 720p @ 30fps using the Canon Image Optical Stabilizer).
