the final dance on as the world turns. i wish this show didn't have to end. why do they bring in all these new and stupid talk shows. soap shows are way more entertaining than some idiot talking to a small audience with boring guests.

All I can and want to say is that I HATE CBS! F*ck those who decided to end my favorit and lovely soap opera!!! :-@ Hope you guys never see one good day in your lifes!!! Hope that their world also will stop turning...

@jeffreykeyes1 I also wished that Helen could end the series.. :-( That would me a remarkable end but she died just a few months before the final episode.... Very sad!!!

The worst part was that they did not shoot the last scene in advance before Helen Wagner died. I thought for sure that Helen would be featured in the final week if not the final show. I thought Andy, Penny, Ellen, and so many other characters from the past would return, and they did not. I was hoping that Helen would be able to end the series just like she had begun the series. Their finale week, let alone the time since Helen died, was the WORST!

I was really happy with this last show. But then, I didn't want there to be a grand farewell. It just showed a turn of the world, an "ordinary" day in Oakedale, Illinois. It was fitting because it's like life there just keeps on going, just like the last shot of the world still turning :( Although, just in general I would've like to see more Susan. I was just terribly sad to the show go :(

I think it was the perfect end. I'm glad some characters didn't get a "happy ending" or an ending at all. I think that is perfect to show that life goes on and on. We don't always get happy endings and for the longtime fans, it gives a sense that these characters are continuing with thier lives.

I have to say there finale week was the worst! I expected it to be even better than Guiding Light's who had even less time to prepare to say goodbye! On top of no flashbacks, Penny and Ellen dd not return, Lisa and Susan got no go goodbyes! Horrible!
