8:52 (13+14) If u want to upgrade ur system u can do it here. The 1541U supports a REU up to 16MB (yes, MB), even more then the small 512kb cardridges from commodore, but same size like CMD). (15) Next option is equal to remove a disk out of a real 1541, just for sd card. Usable for some demos who doesn't detect disc changing correct.

(12) Since last firmware U can load ur individual cardridges, for excample games if u have it on ur SD-Card. (not original sound: I prefer this option to load commodore cardridges, for excample like commercial advisor). original sound:

(8) then u can select the delay for disk changing in ms. Can u change a real 1541 DD Disk in 100ms? haha. (9+10) Next options are the drive ID which i will explain later.

8:01 (6) Next is a "RAMBoard" which gives u +16kb RAM for the drive, but this is compatible with any software. (7) Next U can select if the last selcted Disk should stay in the RAM after power on ur system.

7:17 The config Menu u start by pressing F2. Here we have access to all settings. (1) your username, (2) the filename for flashing the system (DON'T CHANGE!), (3) select 1541 mode is like when u switch ur 1541 on/off, (4) Drive ID, (5) 1541 ROM, which are available for all existing 1541 drives.

The tunes u can select by cursor. U can play them directly. lets here some SIDS. Jeroen Tel, called S-Express and then turrican 2.

6:02 Another nice feature since the last firmware update is the sid player, which playes 1000s of SIDs from the Internet ( LOAD"HVSC",google ). I select one file from Chris Hülsbeck, called "bad cat". It shows title information, SID Model and sub tunes.

5:05 with this feature we can do some jokes like drive music. Here is a little programm that makes this music on 1541U too.
