WRONG, it's impossible to beat the running man. People have thoroughly hacked this game, if there was a line of text when you win, people would have found it by now. And theres not. You can even use GameShark to run really fast and get there in 20 seconds, YOU STILL LOSE.

People are dumb. You cannot beat the Marathon Man. Shigeru Miyamoto himself said that this race is designed to make fun of the lame ass (okay, he didn't use the term "lame ass" but you know) people who claim to beat everything in every game and have to get 100% in everything.

@Jorden9lives He came to the idea, that running backwards to goal while throwing bombs behind, would stop the running man... I tried it, didn't work, but if you beat him, he gives you a quarter heart piece, I saw it with my own eyes.

@chapon123: Nö, das ist ohne Emulator. Man sieht ja sogar noch das Flimmern vom Videorekorder im Video. Das kommt daher, weil ich Zelda auf der Bonusdisk (die bei Zelda: TWW dabei war) gespielt hab und die ja nur in 60 Hz spielbar ist.
