Brilliant song, I still have the single as brought new all those years ago. Any chance the B-side can be uploaded as well please?, think it was called "Road to Ruin", single packed away in loft. Would love to hear it again, haven't heard it in over 20+ years, :)
Like tstsullivan797, it's been 31 years since I heard it when it featured in the audience phone-in vote show 'Top 5 at 5' for a few weeks on Capital Radio in London. Top, top tune. Then it vanished. I've been singing it for 31 years and haven't heard it again. Found it this morning on Kid#3's instruction, after singing the chorus to her. Awesome moment. Had forgotten the christmassy Wizzard/Spector production, but totally remembered the drums and the wicked chorus hook. Amazing.
nothing's better than the british music like this one i love that song really

Nigel Normal...most underrated songwriter of his generation. Joe Strummer and Elvis Costello only with a Radlett postcode
