Sir Alex is admired the world over for his achivements at Manchester United but many suspicions are sure to be raised following this interview with Pedro Pinto.

Pinto began the interview, asking what spurs Ferguson to keep going. For some reason, the manager alluded to his mysterious personality, and then revealed that he doesn't work as hard as he did when he first came to the club. The interviewer asks, do you ''thrive under the pressure''? Sir Alex says that the combination of pressure and his age lead to him to ''lose his temper'', and in general he is ''quite angry''.

The question, ''how much longer do you want to stay at Old Trafford'' seemed an innocuous one, but sensationally, the sensitive manager lashed out, ''you're gonna get kicked in the teeth''.

The shocked interviewer threatened to leave, saying ''I'm done'', but Ferguson didn't relent. The Scot told him, after a beating-up, he will be ''forgotten about and pushed away into the by waters of life, never seen again''.

Following his death threat, Pinto replied (trying to lighten the mood) ''you say that like It's something easy to do''. Sir Alex thinks It would be ''no' a bother'', and the pair laugh off the tension.

The 67 year old showed signs of senility, suggesting that he had only been at Manchester United for eight and a half years. Following this, a bizarre story about when he and Bobby Charlton visited Barcelona, he claimed that Charlton said ''this is what we should be, you know, Barcelona''. The interviewer looked perplexed, and like everybody else in the room must have thought, how can Ferguson actually think that a person can become a city?

He tells that he responded to Charlton saying, ''why aren't we (the city of Barcelona)''. To which Charlton replied ''I have no idea''. These stunning revelations bear the question, how long has the staff at Old Trafford lost touch with basic reality?

Alex goes on to say that the prospect of Jose Mouriniho replacing him as United's next coach is ''hard to handle sometimes'' and he even cries about it.

Pinto challenges Ferguson to think back to the alleged 'hair drier' moment where the Scot was accused of kicking the object towards David Beckham's face. But in high style, the senile manager blamed the incident on Mark Hughes, even though Hughes had left the club at least half a decade earlier.
