That was such a sad film, creepy of course, but there were so many tragic moments in it. This film sort of blurred the line between horror and tradgedy.

I'm trying to figure out why the Japanese can make such scary horror movies and why the Americans cannot create the same automosphere when they attempt to make an American version of it?

@ahlegro Actually - the American remake of this particular movie is not bad at all. It's tense, it's darkly beautiful, it's dreary and hopeless, and human tragedy of the story almost entirely upstages the supernatural threat. Even if the movie has lost some scary scenes, it is still fairly solid, and can IMO stand on its own merits. As far as remakes go - it's probably one of my favorites.

The American remake sucks.
I don't mind the music coz i love your vids. I subscribed :) Oh and btw do all japanese horror movies have english subtitles? and does the subtitiles take the scarinnesszsssssss away from it! Luv ya Man! (IN a non gay way)
