In memoriam of the Seattle SuperSonics franchise, who were lost, like all good things, to a series of imbecilic decisions and underhanded machinations by rich white guys.
To quote popular sports blog With Leather: "Fuck that lying piece of shit Clay Bennett. Fuck David Stern, that collusive cocksucker. Fuck Howard Schultz for selling the team to Bennett, and fuck Starbucks, too. Fuck Seattle's limp-dick government. Fuck Hurricane Katrina. And fuck Oklahoma fans who get indignant and say that they're more deserving of an NBA team than Seattle, the victim of uncaring ownership and a city whose only crime was not shelling out more tax dollars so a carpetbagging son of a bitch could make more fistfuls [of] money."
That said, us Sonics fans truly loved most incarnations of this team, and we're sorry to see them go. These last years were painful, but we hope to gain an expansion team in the future, if only so no other city has to suffer the withdrawal we're going through.
I hold no ill will towards the fans of Oklahoma City, but understand if we can never root for you, or even watch you. Also, prepare to be bad for a long time.

Clay Bennett is a tool.
The sonics were a part of my early childhood- i used to go to every single game i could- including that game against the Jazz that clinched the finals berth.
but this piece of shit from Oklahoma came, and ruined that tradition of going to the key, for the sake of filling his coffers with tax money. The guy doesn't deserve any of the money he gets. Thanks for ruining a franchise, asshole.
